How to connect an AI agent to your station

Connect an AI assistant like Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to your station and manage it just by asking. Once connected, you can say things like "Build my next week of shows" and the AI agent will do it for you, no coding required.

You connect an agent by copying your station's server URL into the AI app, then approving the access in the window that opens.

Good to know

This is part of the Connect add-on. It's available on Premium and Business plans, or with the Connect add-on on any plan. You can upgrade your subscription or purchase the add on here.
Each connected app is authorised by one person, has its own access level, and can be removed at any time.
An AI agent can only do what the access level you grant allows, and never more than your own role permits.

You choose the access level when you connect:
- Full access: view, create and remove playlists, tracks, schedule and more.
- View only: view your playlists, tracks, schedule and more, with no changes.
Connecting an AI agent never shares your password or API keys, and it only grants access to this station.

Connecting a new AI agent

Click the Settings (cog) icon in the top right hand corner of the navigation bar, then click AI Agents under the API & AI Agents menu.

In the Connect a new app section, click the Copy button next to the server URL (https://mcp.radiocult.fm/mcp).

Open your AI app (for example Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor) and add a new connector, then paste in the server URL. The exact steps for adding a connector vary by app, so refer to your AI app's own instructions if you're unsure.

Your AI app will open a window asking you to approve access to your station.
In that window, choose an Access level (Full access or View only), then click the Allow button.

Your AI agent is now connected. It will appear in the Active connections list on the AI Agents page, showing the app, its access level, and who authorised it.

Tip: To disconnect an app, find it in the Active connections list and click the Revoke button. Revoking won't affect your live stream or listeners, and you can reconnect the app at any time.
