Getting started with RadioCult
Welcome to RadioCult. This guide walks you through the first steps for setting up your online station and getting your first audio on air.
When you first sign in, you’ll see a welcome video and a setup helper in the bottom-right corner of your RadioCult account. The setup helper guides you through the core steps for adding audio, building a playlist, scheduling a show, and branding your station.
1. Watch the welcome video
Start with the welcome video inside your RadioCult dashboard. It gives you a quick overview of how to set up and run your station with RadioCult.

2. Add your first track
Your first setup task is to upload an audio file. This could be music, a show, a drop, or another piece of audio you want to play on your station.
Once uploaded, your first track is automatically added to your default playlist so your station can start playing as soon as the stream is ready.
Note: When you first create your station, the streaming instance can take around 2–3 minutes to start up. If your first track does not play immediately, give it a few minutes and refresh your dashboard.
3. Build your first playlist
After adding your first track, you can start building a playlist for your station.
Playlists help you organize the audio you want to put on air, whether you are preparing music blocks, recorded shows, station drops, or other scheduled content.

4. Schedule your first show
Once you have audio ready, you can schedule your first show.
Pick when you want the show to play, choose the playlist or content you want to use, and start building your station schedule around the programming you want listeners to hear.
5. Brand your station
Add your station logo so your station looks more complete across the places listeners see it.
Branding your station early helps create a more polished listener experience as you set up your player, schedule, embeds, and other station-facing tools.
6. Keep building your station
Once the first setup steps are complete, you can continue adding more content, building playlists, scheduling shows, inviting presenters, connecting listener-facing tools, and exploring analytics once listeners start tuning in.
