How to add media to a playlist

In this article, we'll explain the various ways of adding media to a playlist.

Media can be added to playlist either from the Media page or the Playlists page.

How to add media to a playlist on the media page

Navigating to the media page

To navigate to the Media page, click the Media option in the top navigation bar.

Adding media to a playlist on the media page

There are two ways media can be added to a playlist on the Media page:

1. Adding a single piece of media to a playlist, and
2. Adding multiple pieces of media to a playlist.

Adding a single piece of media to a playlist

To add a single piece of media to a playlist, please complete the following steps:

1. Identify the piece of media within the Media table you want to add to a playlist, and
2. Hover your mouse over the row the piece of media corresponds to.

Next please complete the following steps:

1. Click the row's Actions (...) button (the button is positioned in the table column closest to the right hand side of your screen),
2. The Actions dropdown menu should appear. Click the Add to playlist button,
3. The Playlist select window should appear. Identify the playlist you want to add the piece of media to and click the option that corresponds to it.

The piece of media will now be added to your selected playlist.

Adding multiple pieces of media to a playlist

To add multiple pieces of media to a playlist, please complete the following steps:

1. Identify the piece(s) of media within the Media table you want to add to a playlist,
2. Then for each row the piece(s) of media correspond to, click the checkbox (the checkbox is positioned in the table column closest to the left hand side of your screen). The Bulk actions menu should appear at the bottom of your screen.

Next please complete the following steps:

1. Click the Add to playlist button,
2. The Playlist select window should appear. Identify the playlist you want to the piece(s) of media to and click the option that corresponds to it.

The piece(s) of media will now be added to your selected playlist.

Navigating to playlists

To navigate to the Playlists page:

1. Click the Media option in the top navigation bar, and
2. Then click the Playlists option, which is contained in the left hand side menu.

Adding media to a playlist on the playlists page

To add piece(s) of media to playlist, please complete the following steps:

1. Identify the playlist within the Playlists table you want to add to media to and click the row the playlist corresponds to,
2. The side drawer for the playlist will appear on the right hand side of your screen. Click on the Plus (+) button within the side drawer.

Next please complete the following steps:

1. The Select media window will be displayed. Identify the piece(s) of media within the window you want to add to the playlist, and
2. Then, for each piece(s) of media you want to add to the playlist, click the table row that corresponds to the specific piece.

The piece(s) of media will now be added to your selected playlist.
