How to schedule a playlist event

In this help article, we'll show you how to schedule a playlist event in Radio Cult.

A playlist event takes one of your playlists and plays it for the duration of the event. Use this event type when there are multiple files you wish to be played.

Navigating to schedule

To schedule a playlist event, first you need to navigate to the Schedule page.

To navigate to the Schedule page, click the Schedule option in the top navigation bar.

Scheduling a playlist event

To schedule a playlist event, please complete the following steps:

  1. Within the Schedule page's calendar, identify the date and start time you wish to schedule the event for, and
  2. Then click the calendar grid position which corresponds to the desired date and start time of the event. An event will appear on the calendar where you just clicked and the Create event window will be displayed. To create a longer event, click and drag your mouse down the calendar to the desired end time.
  3. Add a Title to the event,

Next, please complete the following steps:

  1. For the event's Media type, click the Playlist option. The Select playlist window will appear.
  2. Identify the playlist you wish to assign to the event (you can use the table's search and sort functionality to help) then click the desired playlist. The Select playlist window will disappear and the selected playlist will be displayed beneath the Media type input.
  3. Optional: Add the event's other details such as Description, Artists and Colour, and
  4. Then click the Create event button.

Your new playlist event will now be created!
